Date: March 27, 2012 CommentsFor our first roadtrip of the year we headed from mid Tennessee to Eureka Springs (600+ miles) to meet up with some friends. Staying at the Riders Rest we couldn't have made a better choice. From the time we arrived until we left Rocky and Marinel were excellent hosts, offering to go to the store for us, or anything we needed. Other than the managers what empressed me was the motel faced away from the road, unlike most, you looked out over bike parking and on down to the "Chili Bar" where we had a campfire each night. Who does business this way? Date: January 17, 2012 CommentsWe spent a week at Bob & Ann's during the 2011 Blues, Bikes & BBQ Rally and had an awesome time! The rooms were great, facing away from the traffic so could relax in the evening after a great ride thru the picture perfect surroundings. The BYOB bar was a great place to visit with other riders. The doors of the rooms face away from the highway, and when you sit outside your room and drink a beer you are looking over a valley with only one or two lights on the opposite hill. It almost looks like you are out in the woods. You wouldn't know that the rat race is 1/2 mile down the road. It's a nice, peaceful place. We will go there again. Friendly, comfortable, makes you feel your at home. You can enjoy an evening just sitting around playing a guitar and singing or just resting for the next days ride. Food near by and you can even buy your favorite drink to relax with back at the pit.Its the best place to rest.You feel like your coming home to visit family. Just wanted to say I commend your efforts to educate the bikers coming into our fair city regarding the noise ordinance. We have a spa downtown and I have noticed in the last few weeks the bikes coming up Spring have been noticeably quieter. It is all about common sense and courtesy and I believe that 99% of the bikers that come to ES are providing us with both sense and courtesy. It is the other 1% that should bear the brunt of the noise tickets. Keep on truckin brother. Your doing a great job for yourself an the city.
